Fading Into Dusk

Across the seas, so far away,
where dreams of love combine with tears
my heart must face another day
and calm the dread of hidden fears.

For love has sailed across the blue,
to still the rage in distant land,
while I remain to dream of you
until once more you hold my hand.

The sun is fading into dusk
and you are here within my heart
upon the air the river’s musk
for love like ours can never part.
