Fading Bliss
I'd a walk a miles in life
I'd seen the countless strife
I'd felt the poignant pains
As I traverses life's main.
Rivers of tears runneth by
In silent brook of lullabies
I'd tried to call the sky
That in paradise I may lie.
Twas long ago since world subside
In the curling hues of life
And in the canvass of every moment.
Stroking brushes and fearful pigments.
Beyond the tall linden trees
And behind the lovely daffodils
Was the pain that never cease
Perhaps, yes, perhaps it was sealed.
It was enough to tread the path
And to butterflies to said goodbye
For in every tremendous aftermath
They do never cry.
I'd tried the wagon to hitch the sky
But in the midst of nothingness
I found my self in foolishness lied
And engulf in emptiness.
