Fading Away
You're starting to fade into the night,
Without you I know I'll be alright.
Thought I'd never say 'without you I'll be okay'.
There's really not much to say.
Thought that I'd never say 'I don't need you anymore' ,
These wounds are no longer sore.
But what made it so easy to throw me away?
You never even heard what my heart needed to say.
You just looked me in the eye.
You just stood there like a stone.
Don't worry because these feelings will soon die.
You won't ever again make me feel alone.
