Faded Kisses

Did I mention that I miss you
When you called just to talk
The other day

Should I tell you from my heart
All the thoughts that you impart
Won't fade away

Or how I've seen you in my wishes
I remember faded kisses
From days gone by
Like the words of a Colbie Callait song
I realize......

Those faded kisses
Fulfilled wishes
If my dreams ever did come true
You can bet that this was it

While the pain still remains
Cause what I lost is now his gain......
Those faded kisses

We've held hands in the car
Stole kisses at the bar
And to my regret

Out of fear of losing you
I never got to prove
All that there is left

I know I'm not the perfect man
But I hope you understand
I could never walk this world without you
So if our lips ever get to meet again
I hope this time I'll never lose

Your faded kisses
Fulfilled wishes
If dreams ever do come true
I know that this was it

Though the pain still remains
Cause what I lost he's now gained.......
Those faded kisses

If I live without my wish
I know I'm gonna miss it......
But at least I'll always have
Our faded kisses
