Fade to grey

You were the candle burning 
in a darkened room 
the sun to light my way. 

The moon at night 
the stars that shone 
the answer to my prayer. 

But now your gone 
the sun no longer shines 
the moon has lost its glow. 

The stars were dimmed 
dark clouds appeared 
when God took you from our home.
