Just a cast away
Your life in color
Mine in grey
I don't understand
Why I am not noticed
But I want you to know
That on you, I was always focused
Friends at first
Never more
We are drifting apart
But what for?
As I start to notice
Us fade away
I notice you are sad
And it makes me mad
You are confused
You do not know why
Why do you lay awake and cry?
I wish I could help
But you don't see me anymore
You built walls around yourself
And I just fade away
Into the fray
