When facing the truth some resist and deny,
and being self centered are quick to decry.
Some, set in their ways, are unwilling to change,
thoughts put forth by others they quickly derange.
Truth isn't what it is but how some view it,
from truthful words spoken they choose to acquit.
In small minds they believe others always wrong,
always marching to the drumbeat of the throng.
