Faces On The Moon

Faces on the moon watch over me
As the darkness falls from the sky.
Like shadows reaching for eternity,
Their lost souls fade into the night.

As I stand alone waiting here,
Under the light of the midnight sun,
The shadows of the night are coming near
The Legacy has just begun

The moon over time has inspired poets and artists alike. I for one never tire of looking at it. Tom
