Faces
Where have they gone
Though no longer here
Their faces float by
As I remember them
Many, many years back
Much younger
Than they would be
If they were here today
And under every face
There is a name
Although
As I grow old
These names
Crack and crumble away
Until all that is left
Are the young faces
Of my dear friends
I use to know
