Faces

All these faces living different lives
In our own way we each survive
                                        We cry and shed tears
                                           Of sadness and joy
                                            Smiles and Frowns
Reactions to what life hands around
Cruising down the highway on a long distance drive
While waiting for our destinations to arrive
I cant help but look at the faces passing by
For each is so unique in every way
What is it that drives us to continue on?
                                          Where are you going?
What is your goal to achieve?
Is it all you hoped it would be?
So to all the faces on this road called life
I hope it brings you more happiness
                                                  than grief
Leaving you strong despite the fears
Treating you well throughout the years
