Those who share on Facebook Must assume, though incorrectly, That everyone will learn their news, If even indirectly. But that is not the case at times, So pictures and events Are missed by some who’d like to know, To varying extents. The Facebook fans can’t understand Reluctance to belong, Believing that not joining up Is foolish, strange and wrong. Thus many who have made the choice To stay off Facebook’s site Must hope that for important stuff A friend will shed some light.

I cannot tell you how many times I have said "I will never participate in social media" but my children begged me to do Facebook. I am careful to only post positive things. Aware of the consequences.

My mom won't touch a computer. I can't even email her and it is sad that all her kids constantly show news by FB. It is a bit like devil playground there yet I am an addict. I sure understand people choosing not to go there

I am a frequent FB visitor/user and can attest to the accuracy of some of your poem, Ilene.....many have been the times when a few of my FB posts have been misconstrued/misinterpreted, mostly on purpose for the furtherance of whatever agenda the user espoused. But it (FB) does provide some benefit in keeping up with/in touch with some friends and family. Enjoyed your poem.
