Face To Face With My Lord
O God my gracious heavenly father
I thank you for this opportunity to speak
with you my Lord and creator
help me your face to seek
Lord you are so good to me
giving me your great salvation
sending your son to Calvary's cross
paying for my eternal redemption
Your hand has been continually on me
keeping me safe through thick and thin
showing wisdom and heavenly counsel
pointing upwards and away from sin
My heart is filled with thankfulness
to you Lord for your perfect love
always being faithful never changing
your eyes on me looking down from above
Remind me sometimes to be silent
before you in reverence and holy fear
for I indeed stand on holy ground
so help me to listen with open ear
Thank you Lord for this hallowed time
precious it's been to be with you
great and gracious Lord you are
my saviour forever blessed true
