Inspired by Face the Truth, written by John Norum, sung by Glenn Hughes She doesn't share my feeling Sends my senses reeling, I have no reply I guess I'll have to cry Face the truth and say goodbye I do not belong here I can no longer fear and my destiny deny From my home I fly Face the truth and say goodbye Years upon years of pain In my body and my brain Procedure gone awry I'll adjust by and by Face the truth and say goodbye A lovely human being My mistakes sent her fleeing She left me one July Such girls in short supply Face the truth and say goodbye It became a pressure dome Then a broken home Our bond we did untie Looking back to sigh Face the truth and say goodbye Did I tell him he was the best, Before he left the nest? He's a lovely guy, I, at least, did try Face the truth and say goodbye Our stay on earth to sever We don't live forever Today's my day to die Time to hit the sky Face the truth and say goodbye
