what’s with the serious face
any point we need to prove
thoughts in narrow grooves
self-blocking divine grace
deadlines missed, what fun
does not yet life continue
as vibrant life breath renews
ignited by the spiritual sun
countless have been our births
spurred by our hearts desire
fleeting illusions we still aspire
stifling our innate bubbling mirth
