Fabric of Time

Fabric of Time

Perhaps it is the reason 
Why so often  
I don’t seem to fit

Time has been 
unraveled
And reknit 

Was it me 
Changing the weave 
Weft in hand

Was it me 
Who believed 
I could go home again

Untying the mess
Of knots 
I left behind

Was it me 
Traveling the length
Dabbling in the 
Breadth of time 

And if I could
Would I do more harm
Then good

Unraveling 
Reknitting 
Resetting the pendulums chime

Believing in
Reweaving 
the fabric of time
