Eyes of Tearful Blue

The faces of time,
show the wear of life.
The ecstatic joy,
and the constant strife.

The eyes and their look,
stories they would tell.
In silence they stare,
from their private hell.

Haunting memories
follow where you roam.
If you settle down,
make themselves at home.

The falling of rain,
the sun shining through.
A world seen with,
eyes of tearful blue.

I like this, it's a contsant reminder if we do stop for just one moment, the gremlins appear, and then how the rain can wash it all away, lovely . . . : )
