Eyes
Just open your eyes
Can't always promise you blue skies
So much left for you to see
So much left for you to be
Searching for some peace of mind
What is it your hoping to find
Maybe it is something that left you behind
Time seems to fly
Times you really want to cry
Open your eyes to see
Nothing comes free
Is it love , passion or just a thing.
Maybe hoping for whatever tomorrow may bring .
Cannot see
If you don't open your eyes
Even during the gray skies
Maybe just pain
Leaving its stain
Your soul it seems to drain
To see your way into the blue skies
Just open your eyes
Time tries to drag you down
In life's river you feel you will drown
No matter how hard one tries
First you must open your eyes
To see what you must do
Which way is true
While looking for blue skies
You must open your eyes
