Extravagance Squandered

Extravagance Squandered
David J Walker

Each in its own bubble as
A singular life
Clinging together in a
Mountain of dirty detergent
Flowing on turbulent rivers as
A not so well thought out experiment
Meant to cleanse
 it poisons and
Pollutes everything it touches but
The bubbles meld and grow
Eventually exploding into nothing
With nothing to show but
The residue of extravagance squandered

... Hi David. I like the 'thought bubble'. To be inspired this beautifully while washing up denotes a worthwhile day. Adept sentiment, we should seek a more authentic source of fulfillment.
