Listen to poem:
I, at risk Hawaiian. Soon on list as gone. ***In the 60's, 'twas bandied about, that we numbered less than 2,000 full-blood Hawaiians that are left. Dread the thought, how many of me are left. Aloha, William Kekaula

If Hawaiins , full-blooded, keep reproducing, you won't be extinct! And even after you and I pass, if we have children..our DNA and heritage goe on. Think of all the races, literally aborting their own nationalities. I don't know the word for that. Except to express true sadness. Panagiota

Most full-blood Hawaiians are related and western societies, frown on inbred relationships, and there are medical issues on that subject matter as well, furthermore, intermarriages of our descendants been the main cause of our decline because of anti-inbred mind set of past and present societies, also, illnesses brought by the missionaries whereby, the common cold, treatable to westerners, but deadly to a race of people who have been isolated for more than a millenium.

Having a relationship with your own children or grandchildren or first cousin and or their offsprings who would be nieces or nephews, --will save us.
