Slowly and with patience you should go on writing. I know the feeling too well. Hugs.

Victor, Thank you for the encouragement. I have had my muse to go away before but never under such a circumstance. The fatigue and exhaustion is still really bad. I think I shall go back to the doctor and see if it is all COVID remnants or if I have something else going on. Sara

NO! No the muse can't leave! Once you're feeling better, there's poetry in the whole experience that I am sure many can identify with. Blessings and hope you'll feel better soon.

M.L., Thanks for the encouragement. Yes, there is plenty of material in this whole experience but I don't know if anyone would want to hear what happened. We are having so many deaths here and it is not all old people but all different ages. Sara

I enjoyed reading this poem, Sara, and my suggestion is to keep writing, even if it's just a single line, even Though I'm sure you'll get over the illness sooner than you think. My friend, you did well.

Lasaad, I hope we are on our way to recovery. It gets a little better as we go along. Somedays it is not easy to come up with something but my poetic thoughts are returning. Thanks for stopping by. Sara

Tom, Life can drain everything out of us. I haven't been up to getting out on the porch which usually inspires me to write. Sometimes just riding around in the truck with my husband or going to Spewell Bluff or another place on the river inspires me. I do see some things in nature here at the house some days to get a little bit of a poem. I hope your muse opens doors for you because I have enjoyed reading your work. Thanks for stopping by. Sara

Hi Sara, I can relate to your poem a lot. It's so hard to write with this dreadful disease running havoc. It's good to know you're getting better. Have a great day-Alexis

Alexis, Yes, this illness is awful. My husband and I are still coughing and my stomach is acting up again today. It has been one month and one day since it hit me. During the first 21 days, all I could think about is hoping I could make it to the loo. Thanks for the visit. Sara
