Exposed

I wear my scars and my heart on my sleeve
I make no attempt, no intent to deceive
I stand before you as a naked soul, a being just being
You're seeing exactly what i'm seeing, just a simple human being
Every fear, every tear, every smile, every laugh
Glad you're here, hope you hear, making whole out of half
Using words, not absurd, just my gift to uplift
As I sift through the crumbs, break down walls, smash the rift
I can be only me, as you see, its honestly
The only way to be free, because there's no con in me
