Expectations

I was born pretty and smart and kind
according to my culture's standards.

So I've been expected to have certain social graces
I just don't have.

Pisses some peops off when I don't act like they want me to.
Don't like to piss people off, so in past have tried to adjust.

Holy cow, tho, ya give them an inch they'll take a mile
and yeah, I'll admit I got more than an inch to give but like maybe 36
which is three feet or one yard and not near close to the 5280 feet
(will let someone else calculate inches)
expected.

And, btw, what am I offered in return?
