Expect Hell
I was told more than once or twice,
Expect hell and you will do well,
For the rest of your life.
No, not indeed expect to go to Hell,
No, no way!
But expect hell if you choose
To live life God’s way, yes
The only way to have true success.
Expect hell from folks, who claim,
That God is the head of their life.
Expect to call on Jesus’ name,
More than once or twice.
Expect hell in order to excel.
Expect to spell out Jesus’ life,
In your daily walk.
They killed him and he did everything right.
Expect to call on Him,
In the wee hours of the night,
While the hellions are backstabbing you,
With the sharpest knife.
To everyone who wants to live life well,
You must expect hell to excel.
Shout, pray and praise your way,
Through your promised storms.
To live the way God designed you to be,
Way before you were born.
Now, I’ve told you more than once or twice,
Expect hell and you will do well,
For the rest of your life.
