Excuses

Because I was beaten....I beat,
Because I was abused....I abuse,
Because I was hurt....I repeat,
Because others found it funny....I'm amused,
I come from a broken home....that's why I'm stoned,
I wasn't loved....thats why I don'e believe,
I was left all alone....that's why I can't stay home,
I was poor....that's why I need,
That's why....I can't,
That's why....you don't understand,
That's why....about nothing I rant,
That's why....I need a hand,
Life did me wrong,
Life took it all,
Life....a broken mans sad song,
Life....and you missed the call,
But...I wasn't given a chance,
But....I can't love,
But....it was a trance,
But....no one was ever above,
Excuses.... for not,
Excuses....for,
Excuses because that's all they are and that's all you got,
Excuses....save them I heard them all before.
