Everything Could Be Easy
Everything could be easy and clear.
I could close my little world in your eyes.
But I don’t look at you – yes, I fear.
I don’t want to listen to your lies.
There is no place for me in your dreams.
Your plans rule me out – yes, it’s correct.
I want nothing except for the nearness -
Our souls are agreed in this respect.
There is no place for me in your heart...
I can’t believe it – what a doubting Thomas!
I know we should be a long way apart.
Yet, I stay by you and wait for the lies...
