Everyone Wants To Be Special

Hunter seeks his prey,
Like we seek our destinies.
Waiting for our claim to fame.
Some of us are even,
Willing to commit felonies.
It's all about seizing the day.
All about making our names.
All about getting in the game.
We're just a bunch of fools
Oh what a shame!
It's all a bit lame.
Life so wasted in vain
But who am I to complain.
I am guilty the most,
For I've certainly played host,
To misguided ideals.
Than one day,
I will be chosen.
To hold the top post.
It's all a delusion,
This is my conclusion,
But then again.
Every one wants to be special.
