Everybody Cries

Did you know that every teardrop Has it's own story to tell Sometimes of a love gone bad Or a heartfelt sad farewell Sometimes, we cry tears of joy Or even tears in pain And sometimes, on our pillows, Our tears will leave a stain We've cried tears of sadness Or when smoke gets in our eyes Sometimes, it's a broken heart Or when a loved one dies Sometimes, we laugh so hard Our eyes will flood with tears Tears can have a healing power That will even calm our fears Sometimes, when we're crying, We'll wear a thin disguise But you don't have to hide your tears For everybody cries
