I feel a little stronger every time I pray
Just a little stronger every time I say
I need a little guidance, someone to show the way
I feel a little stronger every time I pray

I feel a little weaker every time I stray
Just a little weaker almost every day
I need a little guidance, someone to show the way
I feel a little stronger every time I pray

Idle hands will harm you, they let the devil play
Idle thoughts disarm you, they let the soul decay
I need a little guidance, someone to show the way
I feel a little stronger every time I pray

So do yourself a favor and make it your forte
Take some time reflecting each and every day
You need a little guidance, someone to show the way
I feel a little stronger every time I pray
