Every Precious Minute
Children refuse to go out and play,
Missing the beautiful weather of the day.
The time is slowly passing,
As well as their days are amassing.
These kids grow older and older.
With a snap of a finger,
They are adults wanting to go back to the past.
They have feelings of regret,
Wishing they never rushed time away.
Days are limited now.
Any day could be the last.
Wake up every day
And live it to the fullest.
Forget about the regrets of the past.
A beautiful day comes again.
The sun is shining with no end.
They run out the door to see what the day awaits.
Running, laughing, and making memories on that day and date.
