Every Night
Every night
A scared little girl cries herself to sleep
With nothing of her own to keep
Every night
She prayed to God
Hoping he wont come home tonight
Every night
Is another bruise
As she bites her lip, trying not to cry
Because she knows if he see’s one tear
She would be even closer to dieing
Every night
As tears run down her face
She knows this abuse will go on and on
And never stop
Every nigh
When she tried to tell someone
They never believed her
Because he doesn’t look like “that type of guy”
Every night
She would pray to God
Hoping he wont come home tonight
