Every Morning When I Rise

Every morning when I rise
And open my droopy eyes
My mind is filled with many whys
Why did you have to leave?
Why did I have to be so naïve?
I stay up all night waiting for your call
Reminisce the times we held hands at the mall
Bought each other presents for no reason at all
Called each other pet names
As we played our bedtime games
Lived through our weaknesses
Worked through our differences
My heart gets weak every passing day
Coz I love you in a very special way
Will there ever be a better day?
