Every Moment
We all struggle to understand,
It's almost always never about our plans,
He places us where we need to be,
There's a huge difference between wants and needs,
God knows our hearts better than we know our own
He knows what we need here before we travel back home,
The people, the places, the times we must share,
We must learn to trust that he's holding us there,
Adapting to change while holding his hand,
Through the calmness and the storms He helps us to stand,
It's not me leading my life's destination,
As much as it is His spirit guiding my direction,
So with age, and time the less I question,
I trust in Him more than my own reflection.
