Every Four Years Or So

My wife is unhappy
  What did I do
Nothing, my darling
  It's not about you

But dear, you're so sad
  It eats away at me
I like seeing you glad
  It's how you should be

Oh, Freedom just died here
  And that's why I came
If I'd have foreseen Joe Biden
  I'd have stayed in Ukraine

Gosh dear, this perhaps sounds cliched:
'Cos things may look bleak today
But Biden won't always get his way
It won't be all black and white
    There'll be shades of gray

Darling, you really don't get it
Ruin the USA is what socialism will do
Just wait 'til Comrades Biden and Harris
  Start to tighten the screws

    ... Stone Cold Silence ...

What can I say, honey
  You know better than me
Better pack your bags and emigrate
Democracy's too messy for you, I see

Yes, freedom and democracy are difficult to maintain and sustain. Not for those who always want their own way. (That's the problem now; too many of those bully-coward types walking around, thanks to our broken immigration system and our radical leftist K-12 public educational system). ~ Solving the problems of the world, one after the other. lol. ~ me

Wonderful write Gershon! I am sure US will be better under a good man than under a megalomaniac who was going to take over the country and run it like it was China! His family was going to run it like their failing business! Good days are ahead, my friend! All the best to you!

Ha, ha. I know you and others are happy about the outcome of the election, Krish... I'd say, keep an eye on things: 74 million rabid Trump supporters are not going to roll over and lie down. Plus the mob on the Far Left -- the Squad + Nadler, Schiff, Maxine Waters et. al. -- is ready to screw Biden to the wall if he doesn't lay down before their holy agenda of Socialism and Communism. Conclusion: Happy Days aren't Exactly Here in America Again, sorry to say... Tra la la. Politics is a rough game; not for the weak of heart. :) gw

Well, we don't know the outcome but God is still in control even though we don't know~ He does. Enjoyed reading your politically based work. Sara

There you go. God either lets it happen, makes it happen -- or intervenes when we least expect it. The Man Upstairs Knows Best. ! Thanks for the timely reminder, Sara. ~ Gershon

And what you fear is already here -- in spades too... Ah, but we keep fighting the good fight, Bob. ~ Going up and down, covered in gory glory, Gershon

Stone cold silence and all that you wrote is what happens to most husband's. You can never convince a wife. Some are just beyond any understand. It is not easy to live with such life partner. Enjoy your day friend. Take care!

Interesting take you have on this one... I think that it can happen to a wife too. Women have no monopoly on stubbornness, as far as I can see... At any rate, please feel free to disagree! Light and Hope, Gershon
