Every Day Isnt

Every Day Isn’t (Toast & Orange Juice) Written: by Miracle Man June 14, 2021 In the spring of my life, when leaf was green. Thoughts were fixed on, places & things unseen. But as life progressed, those yearnings chilled. Many earlier aspirations, are now filed, unfulfilled. My body now covered, with markings of time. Leaving me to fantasize, back to my prime. My smile has vanished, replaced by frown. I sit and daydream, as my life turns brown. Then comes a day, when Geese are calling. Chill fills the air, and this leaf is falling.
