Every Day
I sit with you every day
Watching as you fade away
Wishing there was more I could do
The person I see is really not you
I promise to you the very best
Until you take your last breath
So many lives that you touched
Made us all love you so much
I am supposed to be strong at will
Because I am Uncle Bill
But I must say every day I cry
As I sit and watch you die
There's so much you helped us gain
Life for us will never be the same
I promise that I won't be sad
Great memories we both had
With this I give you one last kiss
And that you hang in there is my only wish!
