Every

After every shower comes a rainbow,
After every tear there is a smile,
After every being comes a shadow,
And after every progression there's a mile

In every fraudulence there is validity,
In every sunbeam glows the moon,
In every adult there cavorts a child,
And in every serenity agitation broods.

Under every bravery cowers uncertainty,
Under every bitterness lurks sweet,
Under every plea of guilt lies innocence,
And under every dawn a dusk doth meet.

From every accident breeds intention,
From every whisper a muffled scream,
From every deep pool pools that of shallow,
From every drought lingering droplets teem.
