Everlasting Love
In these days of broken love
so many not lasting after they wed
giving up what they promised to do
divorce seems easy to do instead
So what's the secret of enduring love?
well you must learn to love no matter what
through thick and thin loving unselfishly
learn well what the Bible has taught
That's to love as Christ loves His own
for He gave up His life for their souls
this is the truth that Jesus practiced
with His sinful people exchanging roles
We learn well to speak to our spouse
with respect as when we courted them
so always treating them with dignity
our love shows them creme de la creme
So put the other in first place
showing deep humility and trust
pray much to be kept together
everlasting love will not go bust
