Ever the Writer
Ever the writer with pen in hand,
do you see what this is leading to ?
Writing each thought, so simple yet grand,
Do these not show what lies within you ?
What do you do with these poems you write ?
Why do you think God gives them to you ?
For years they continue to come to light,
Do you know what it is you should do ?
You've shared with others the thoughts of your heart
as they have read the words that you write.
And as they read, they in turn take a part
of those things that for them come to light.
