Ever Done

I stood on the beach face-to-face with the sun
I came to ride a wave just me and the sun
But like everything else I've ever done
I got my feet wet let them dry by the sun
I came to ride a wave but I never rode one
Like everything else I've ever done
I Heard the music playing such a sweet Melody
And the words that followed were written just for me
But like everything else I've ever done
I started singing I was humming along
When I heard those waves crashing I forgot about that song
Like everything else I've ever done
I've held my breath for a better one
