Evening Silence

Evening Silence

No single sound is creeping through my window,
only a blackbird sings its tunes in nearby lilac.
Evening silence is embedding
houses, streets,
and even is reflecting
in the the distant forest's fringe.

And when the day
tiredly covers with dusk,
and silhouettes merge into grey,
 at times a pale moon
glimpses lonely through
dark cloudy ribbons,
and on the meadows down,
silently falls a glittering dew.

Now evening silence
covers the world ideas,
sometimes a gusty wind rushes across
the trees.
It is the time of day,
which brings us peace.
Yet night is knocking at my door
and leads me slowly
to the kingdom of my dreams.
