Evening Cool

Evening Cool In evening cool we sat and talked. Sun began his rest. Moon began her walk. We opened our hearts with words that soothed and healed. Caught a glimpse of heaven, as stars hovered over the field. We spoke of days gone past with smiles and some tears, swimming in memories on waters of forgotten years. Dreams we spoke roared like thunder. Dusk changed hues filled us with wonder. Silence overtook us as we pondered in our hearts, feelings trapped inside that were there from the start. Night moved on, it had a schedule you see. Light shot across the sky, darkness began to flee. We talked through the night, no regard for time. Our spirits were satisfied as we tasted the divine. This would not have happened if the evening hadn’t cooled. Two souls that sat and talked under heaven’s shimmering pool. Daniel- 11/15
