Evenfall

Remind me
of evenfall,
young man -
the end of day.

A romantic time.

Pastel skies
at dusk
bringing smiles
to lips.

Sound abates.

Silence reigns.
One more day is gone.
The cricket chirps,"Well done".
"Rest".

Tomorrow is nigh.
