Evenfall

Lilac dreams
     tiptoe inside
        whisper
     my secrets as
 evenfall descends..

 Aged stories
     turn mauve
        haunt me then
        dissolve
     in tides of
 crimson seas..

 Memories expand
     become more mine than I
       am
        as evenfall ends.

Breathtakingly beautiful, dear Aditi!!! Your words reverberate like an echo of a favorite song. A fave!

This is one of the wonderful Yaltos that didn't make the cut in my contest, but I'm thrilled to see you place high in Brian's, Aditi:-) Have a blessed Memorial Day!

Thank you for your kind words of appreciation Edward! I enjoyed writing in Yalto form. Your contests with the thought provoking themes give a wonderful insight into poetic thoughts to be explored. God bless you :)
