Even Stars

Why they choose to appear at night

Why they choose to stand at far height

Why they always shine in might 

Why every star twinkles with every sight
     Even stars
          Drop
               Tears
Why their hearts well up, to their eyes

Why their minds pulsate with their ties

Why their hearts lift all to the skies
 
Why their minds warm all to the highs
     Even stars 
          Mend
               Tears

Darlene Gifford August 6, 2015 at 9:39 PM Another wonderful poem about the stars. A 7. But of course the stars are always there, even in the bright light of day. But because of the light we can't see them. However it is a comfort to me to know that they are always there, just waiting for the night to come so it is their time to shine. Every shooting star is a wish fulfilled and stars only cry when there is nothing they can do to help. I hope that all your stars are shooting stars.
