Even Keel

Getting along brings my hearts delight
I don’t want your anger to ignite
I know I’m no shining knight
I don’t want us to fight
I know I’m not as lofty as a kite
As night is blue and day is white
I don’t want to always be right
I want your love for me to ignite
A kind look makes me high as a kite
I like to hear your insights
For us to be civil would be alright
Being with you is my hearts delight

The descriptiveness and expressiveness is very good in this write..I especially like lines 5 and 6 and the last line.. Keep the creative pen flowing. Sara

Very wise words are said in this thoughtful write, Robb. Other's could learn how to get along, by reading this! :) Good luck in the contest! ~ Love, Carrie

A very realistic approach to relationships, Robb. There are few "shining knights" out there. Sharing civility with your partner is sometimes the best we can hope to achieve. Love, Carolyn

I say fight, and fight hard with honesty. She will leave you or love you passionately forever.
