Euphoric
The descending snow in winter transforms my mind into a trance.
The onerous tumbling snowflakes seem to mingle, as if to dance.
As they land upon my face, they embrace each pore within my skin.
A quite profound interaction, between Mother Nature and her kin.
These hypnotizing snowflakes, slowly cover all that’s around.
The freshly fallen snow muffles out each and every sound.
It’s like I’m trapped within a moment of time, each flake and I become as one.
Then I feel the bite of the freezing cold and this euphoric dance is suddenly done.
When I think of all the life that is thriving upon this earth.
I’m really just only a speck and I have been since my birth.
