Euphoria

Such power in just a motion
Like flicking on a switch
I wish it all was that easy
One simple, final fix

One solution to life’s problems
Not just a band-aid for the pain
A ticket to a world that’s quiet
Where you’ll never feel the rain

No decisions, drama, catastrophes
To lead your mind astray
 All those years of troubles
Washed clean in one short day

No more cell of a world around you
Confining, destroying your mind
Conforming your thoughts through its poison
No more wasting all your time

So I’m praying through the tears
For the courage to just move my finger
I know the world will go away
If I suck it up and pull the trigger
