Eulogy For Miss Stacy
EULOGY FOR MISS STACY
She was such a precious one with talent and with charm,
The smile could touch the coldest heart and help it feel warm.
And with her voice she sang with praise the Savior she held dear;
Christ was so special, we could tell, in words she sang so clear.
Yes, now that voice is silent, and no more the fingers play;
We’ll miss Miss Stacy more than any words can ever say.
I find it hard to find the words of comfort now to say
That tell how much she meant to us to see her smile that way,
How much her talent blessed our church for fifteen glorious years,
Each time the music blessed my heart and I would shed some tears.
Remembering now these memories, I pray for comfort now;
Some day we’ll see that smile again when at God’s throne we bow.
Written in memory of Stacy Withers, acrostic of her name.
