Ethics Of Lies DHR

Lies protect us from                     Lies blatantly demolish                                              
damage and reprimand,              the credibility of our
creating an articulated                 relationships, eroding
shield for the vulnerable              the basic foundation of

to gain power to influence          making future interactions
as the strategic advantage.         outright unstable. Habitual

            Truth is a principled idealistic concept, but 
             contextual situations may justify altering 
           the reality for showing empathy. Lies need
              restraint, but they may be the hallmark
             of convenient wisdom for protecting life 
            or pride, not for meeting the selfish ends.

When you tell the truth, your honesty is a straight shoot. Thanks for letting me comment. One of the day to day life problems is that with a compulsive lier we are not sure where we stand. Truth can at times be very unpleasant, so people lie to please.
