Etherium

ETHERIUM ©David Arthur I ponder long, pained eyes upon Ice silent yesterdays Mere memories beloved Louise Cannot my loss allay An ocean is my love, but not enough for you Whose grace precedes lithe mystic steeds The winged gods of lore I wander on, bemused, withdrawn In weary, wayward ways In dreary, dotard ways A pious mermidon Forever is my love not long enough for you My eternal spirit draws its neverending breath for you All earthly will, dead quiet, still A shade bemoans by day And dark of night yields not respite For grief that has no stay A poem is my love yet not enough for you Whose soul sublime Stirs nobler rhyme From bard's supernal shore
